DrummeRTee924 – Keys & Logs Ft. UncleTallz & Mpekzin Dasoul

Keys are easy to picture, whether you think of a piano, a synth or the keys of a house that you finally got after years of saving. Logs are harder, and that is the interesting part. In dance music circles, people connect that word with a certain kind of deep, rolling, heavy bass pattern. So the title sets two different worlds side by side, one polished and melodic, the other thick and grounded. It is a contrast worth pausing on.

The record appears on The Upcomings, and having three names on the credit gives it a team feel. UncleTallz and Mpekzin Dasoul join DrummeRTee924 here, and the collaboration reads like a group of friends bringing different strengths into one room. I like when a title already tells you the roles. You can imagine one person on the keys, another holding the weight underneath, and a third tying everything together. Keys & Logs sounds like a division of labour.

It is also a good reminder of how much modern dance music comes from shared effort. A producer alone in a bedroom still needs ears and ideas from other people, and the credit line here shows that spirit clearly.

Anyone who enjoys listening for the details beneath the surface will find something to chew on here, especially during a long drive when the road is quiet.
