Omah Lay – HOLY GHOST FIRE Ft. Lekaa Beats

Anyone who has been at an all night prayer service knows what that phrase sounds like. It is the cry for power, the demand that something heavy should fall from above and change the atmosphere. The word fire adds intensity, which in Nigerian church language usually means cleansing, strength and breakthrough.

The credit is worth noting. Lekaa Beats is a producer name, and a producer credit on a record like this makes the collaboration feel like a team effort. The track also sits close to another Holy Ghost title on the project, which suggests a theme the album comes back to. I will not describe the sound or the arrangement, since I cannot vouch for those details and your own ears are the fair judge.

It belongs to the moment you need courage, whether before a big step or after a long wait.
