Mr Thela – uBumnandi Ft. Eemoh & Vanger Boyz

The word is Zulu for something nice, pleasant or enjoyable, and I would leave a precise translation to those who speak the language. The meaning is clear enough from the sound. It is the feeling at the end of a good week, the taste of a meal you have been waiting for and the relaxed mood of friends who finally have nothing to do.

Three credited names make it a lively gathering. Eemoh is also on another track from the project, while Vanger Boyz bring a group energy that suits a title about enjoyment. In Nigeria we would say the vibes are already sorted before the record starts. I will not describe the production or the vocals, since I cannot vouch for those details.

Play it on the weekend when the bills are paid, the plans are loose and everyone is ready to let go for a few hours.
