Blxckie – Yena (Album)

Promise

South African rapper brings together a new chapter of his music with YENA, a 15-track hip-hop album scheduled for release on 30 October 2026 through Somnyama Music Entertainment and EMPIRE. The project brings solo records and collaborations into one collection, giving listeners another body of work to explore.

The album features a lineup of artists from different parts of the music scene. A-Reece joins Blxckie on “bonkerz,” American rapper Bas appears on “cover me,” and Nigerian singer L.A.X features on “lonely.” KindlyNxsh joins him for “let em have it,” while Usimamane appears on “dradi.” K1llbrady is also credited on “brady’s interlude,” adding another collaboration to the tracklist.

YENA contains 15 tracks, opening with “mama, it’s all good.” before moving into “take me back,” “mr party,” and “bonkerz.” Other titles include “uphi?,” “welcome to the function,” “with me,” “vul’amehlo (open ur eyes),” and “wala (wa).” The closing songs are “dradi” featuring Usimamane and “die tomorrow,” which completes the album’s sequence.

The project also carries a personal touch through its title and rollout. Reports on the album announcement connect the Zulu phrase “uthando alupheli nanini” with the message that love never ends. Blxckie has also revisited footage from his younger years as he prepares for the release, bringing attention to the journey that led to this point in his career.

With its mix of solo songs and featured appearances, YENA gives listeners a chance to explore Blxckie’s latest work from beginning to end. Visit Dushiplay.com for more updates on new music, album releases, and hip-hop from South Africa and beyond.
