BigXthaPlug – PEACE OF MIND
The most expensive thing nobody sells is the subject as BigXthaPlug offers PEACE OF MIND, a solo record on the BETTER OVER TIME album.
Ask any Nigerian what they want most and the answer often has nothing to do with luxury. It is the ability to sleep without worrying about rent, to travel without fear and to answer the phone without dreading the caller. Peace is what many people chase through every hustle.
For a rapper, the phrase can also mean something else. Success brings noise, attention and people asking for favours, so quiet becomes valuable. A title like PEACE OF MIND suggests a man weighing what he has gained against what he has given up. I will not describe the sound or the vocals, since I cannot vouch for those details.
It suits the late night after a long week, when the house is quiet and your thoughts finally slow down.
