King Wazza – 442 Ft. Omogee’De Djy, RishBeats, Wama 902 & U’Row RSA

For many people, the digits bring football formations to mind immediately, the classic setup that every Nigerian uncle has an opinion about. Of course, a number can mean anything, a date, a house, an address or a code. That is part of the fun, because the title invites you to guess before you press anything.

Look at the guest list and you see a collection of producers and acts who are comfortable in the same circles. Omogee’De Djy, RishBeats, Wama 902 and U’Row RSA bring a lot of local credibility, and the numbers in a couple of those names even echo the title in a funny way. It feels like a group chat that became a record.

Numerical titles also tend to travel well because they are easy to type, easy to say and hard to confuse with something else. Anybody searching for the song will find it fast, and anyone hearing it mentioned at a party will remember it. In a long album, that simplicity helps a track stand out from its neighbours.
