In Zulu, the phrase leans towards come and see, or you will see for yourself. People use it when they are confident enough to let results speak. It can be playful, as in wait and watch, or a little cheeky, as in you have not seen anything yet. In every case there is a bit of pride in it.

That attitude fits a record with four guests. A name like this works as a challenge to the listener, and a deep credit list gives it some backing. I will not describe the sound or the role each guest plays, but a title that boasts quietly and a group of collaborators ready to prove it make a good match. Wozo’bona is not asking for permission.

The contrast I enjoy is between the friendly feel of the words and the confidence underneath. You can say them with a smile and still mean every syllable. It is a good one for a Saturday when you have something to show off, whether it is a new outfit or a new job.
