Mr JazziQ – Circle Bigger Ft. Lemaza, Magwe ZA, Don Deeya & Thesiix
Every social circle has an edge, and somebody always wants to push it. On Coolest in the City, Mr JazziQ brings Circle Bigger, backed by Lemaza, Magwe ZA, Don Deeya and Thesiix.
The title is easy to read in everyday terms. It is about the people you move with and whether there is space for a few more. Anyone who has outgrown a small friend group, started a business, or moved to a new city knows the feeling of wanting a wider table. Growth often starts with who you let in.
There is a nice match between that idea and the lineup. Four guests on a single record means the circle is already getting bigger in a literal way, and I think that is a smart detail. The producer is not only talking about the idea, the credits act it out. I will not describe the arrangement or who takes which part, but the way Circle Bigger is staffed tells its own story.
It is the kind of record that suits a night out when the group chat has been planning for days, and someone says bring anybody you want. If you have ever been the person who invites everyone, this title was written with you in mind.
