Xduppy – Top Ft. Sleazy, Optimist Music ZA & Djy Vino

The word points to the highest position, whether in money, respect or a craft. Everybody wants to be there, and few admit how badly. A title like this is a boast and a goal at the same time, depending on who is speaking and how much they have already achieved.

It is also an old argument. Is the person at the peak there because of talent, luck or connections? Every barbershop in Nigeria has had that debate, and a one word title invites it before anyone presses play. Nobody needs a long explanation to have an opinion.

Djy Vino is a South African DJ and producer whose name appears often around amapiano, and his credit alongside Sleazy and Optimist Music ZA gives the record some weight. A song called Top needs company that matches the ambition, and the guest list at least tells you the project is aiming high. I will leave the actual sound for you to judge.

It suits the drive to work, the workout and anyone chasing something bigger than their current situation.
