Blxckie – lonely Ft. L.A.X

The title touches on a feeling many people understand, even when they find it difficult to explain. Loneliness can happen when someone is physically alone or when they feel disconnected from the people around them. That familiar subject gives the record a relatable starting point for listeners who appreciate music that speaks to personal emotions and relationships.

The collaboration brings together two artists from different parts of Africa’s contemporary music scene. Blxckie represents South African hip-hop, while L.A.X has built his name within Nigeria’s Afrobeats scene. Their appearance together creates a cross-border connection that may attract listeners who enjoy discovering collaborations between artists with different musical backgrounds.

Originally released as a single on 25 September 2026, lonely also appears as the tenth track on YENA, Blxckie’s 15-track album scheduled for release on 30 October 2026. Its inclusion gives the song a place within a larger project that features other collaborations with A-Reece, Bas, K1llbrady, KindlyNxsh, and Usimamane. The track also gives L.A.X a prominent role in connecting the South African rapper’s project with Nigerian audiences.

For listeners who follow both artists, this collaboration is a chance to explore their meeting on one record. Visit Dushiplay.com for more updates on African music, new singles, and upcoming album releases.
