Viqtorioz – Confidence

Confidence can show up in very ordinary moments. It is walking into a room without wondering if you belong there, making a decision without asking ten people to approve it, or finally taking yourself seriously after spending too much time second-guessing everything. It does not always look loud or dramatic. Sometimes it is simply the decision to stop shrinking yourself.

That makes the title interesting because confidence and arrogance are not the same thing. One comes from being comfortable with yourself, while the other can come from needing to prove that you are above everyone else. There is something more personal about genuine self-belief. You can have doubts and still move forward. You can be nervous and still show up. You can know that you are not perfect and still refuse to treat yourself like you are not enough.

This track speaks to that gradual change in how a person sees themselves. It can come after a difficult season, a personal win, a fresh start, or simply getting tired of allowing fear to make every decision. Viqtorioz’s choice of title leaves plenty of space for that interpretation, making the record easy to connect with on a personal level. Sometimes the biggest shift is not what changes around you, but what you finally start believing about yourself.
