VendaPrince MT – Forgive Me

Mathew Cooker

takes a more vulnerable turn with Forgive Me, a title built around the difficult moment when someone has to admit they caused hurt and ask for another person’s mercy. The record is part of the album Gogo Wami.

Asking for forgiveness is easy to say but difficult to mean. A real apology requires more than wanting the discomfort to disappear. It means accepting that another person was hurt and understanding that they have every right to need time before trust can return.

Forgive Me can apply to many situations. Someone may have broken a promise, spoken carelessly, ignored advice or made a decision that affected people close to them. Sometimes the mistake itself is not the hardest part. It is facing the person afterwards and knowing that an apology may not immediately repair what happened.

There is also a quiet humility in asking for forgiveness. Pride often tells people to defend themselves, explain their reasons or point out what the other person did wrong. But there are moments when taking responsibility matters more than winning an argument. Saying sorry cannot erase the past, but it can acknowledge the damage honestly.

Its place on Gogo Wami adds another personal dimension to the album’s collection of family-related themes. Forgiveness can be especially complicated within families because people may have years of shared history behind one disagreement. That history can create a reason to repair things, but it does not make hurt disappear automatically.

VendaPrince MT leaves the idea open to anyone who has ever needed to apologise sincerely. Sometimes forgiveness comes quickly, and sometimes it takes much longer. Either way, the first step is often the same: admitting that you were wrong and being willing to face the consequences of your actions.
