Slim Bizzle – FINE SHIT

The phrase is casual street talk for something or someone that looks impressive. In everyday Nigerian conversation, you hear similar expressions when people admire a car, an outfit or a person across the room. It is a loose, confident way of saying something is on another level.

That makes the title a good fit for a record about style, status or admiration. A rapper can use it to talk about a lover, a lifestyle or his own achievements. The wording leaves the door open, so a listener can decide what the object of praise is, and that ambiguity is part of the charm.

Slim Bizzle appears on OOAK Vol. 3 alongside Russ Millions, so this is a solo spot within a project that is largely led by another voice. A solo track in that setting often gives a guest artist the chance to show their own personality, and a title this direct suggests an easy, confident approach.

The little detail I like is how ordinary the language is. Nothing about it is dressed up, and that is precisely why it works. People talk this way when they are relaxed and proud, whether they are with friends at a joint or showing off a new buy. It is the kind of title that makes you grin before the record even starts.
