Fireboy DML – FIGHTING
Not every struggle is visible to other people. Some battles happen quietly, through difficult decisions, private worries or the effort required to keep going when progress is slow. Fireboy DML puts that broad subject in view with FIGHTING.
The word can refer to open conflict, but it also describes the effort people make to protect what matters to them. A student may be fighting to finish a course while working long hours. Someone else may be trying to leave an unhealthy situation or regain stability after a setback.
Persistence is valuable, though it does not mean every problem should be confronted in the same way. Sometimes standing firm is necessary; at other times, stepping back or asking for help takes more courage than continuing a struggle alone.
The title leaves the nature of the conflict open. The lyrics would establish whether the record deals with personal pressure, relationships or another subject, while the recording itself is needed to assess the musical approach accurately.
Most people have had a period when simply maintaining their routine required extra effort. Recognising that struggle does not make someone weak. It can be the first step towards deciding what deserves their energy and what needs to change.
