Cojo Rae – Baby Daddy (Bonus) Ft. Beeztrap KOTM

The phrase refers to the father of a woman’s child, and in everyday talk it carries humour, tension and sometimes drama. It is a subject people joke about at parties and argue about on timelines. The bracket marks it as a bonus track, an extra gift added after the main project.

Nigerians will recognise the energy. Family gossip about who is responsible for what is a national pastime. I will not describe the lyrics, since I cannot confirm them, but a title like this suggests a story with attitude, maybe playful, maybe pointed, and the guest voice of Beeztrap KOTM adds a second view.

That is the interesting part of a bonus track. It often feels looser, like a conversation after the main event. By the time a friend asks if you have played Baby Daddy (Bonus), someone will already be telling a story.

Anyone who enjoys cheeky relationship talk will see the appeal. It suits hangouts and late night gist.
