Godswill Oyor – Lord I’m Amazed (Mercy) (Extended) Ft. Daniel Ojo

The word extended says the moment was allowed to continue. In worship, a longer version is a gift to people who are not ready to leave yet. The first few minutes get the room singing, and the rest gives people time to remember, to cry, to say thank you in their own words and to stay in the feeling a little longer.

Nigerian thanksgiving services work that way. A testimony starts with a short sentence and grows into a full story, and the congregation adds a chorus after each part. Nobody looks at the clock. When a song of amazement is stretched out, it becomes a space where every person can bring their own list of reasons.

I will not describe what happens inside the track, since I cannot confirm it, but a longer cut often lets spoken moments and repetition do their work. Hearing Lord I’m Amazed (Mercy) (Extended) after the shorter version feels like staying behind after the service, when the room is quiet and the real conversation begins.

Anyone who has more to be thankful for than one song can hold will see themselves here. It suits long drives, Sunday evenings and year end reflection.
