FOLA – It’s Over (ft. Bella Shmurda, Zlatan)

The collaboration gives the record plenty of personality, with each artist bringing a different energy to the subject. Bella Shmurda and Zlatan add their own perspectives, helping the song move between melodic moments and a more direct street-influenced delivery.

At the heart of FOLA’s It’s Over is the difficult process of accepting that some things cannot be forced to continue. The lyrics leave room for the disappointment that comes with letting go, but there is also a sense of clarity in choosing to move forward instead of remaining stuck in something that no longer works.

The result is a relatable Afrobeats song with enough emotion to sit beyond the dancefloor. It speaks to anyone who has reached that uncomfortable moment when closure becomes necessary, turning a painful experience into something listeners can recognise in their own lives.
