VsixBeatz – I Appreciate You Lord

The title reads like a personal prayer, the kind of words someone might say after looking back at everything they have survived and realising they did not get through it alone. Appreciation can come from big things such as answered prayers, but it can also be about waking up, having strength for another day and seeing another opportunity ahead. That makes the message easy to relate to without needing a complicated story.

What gives the record its character is the directness of the central message. VsixBeatz keeps the focus on God, allowing the idea of thanksgiving to remain at the front instead of filling the song with unnecessary themes. The repeated expression of appreciation also gives it the feel of something that could sit comfortably during personal devotion, a quiet morning, or a moment when you simply want to acknowledge how far you have come.

I particularly like how ordinary the title sounds. “I appreciate You, Lord” is not a grand speech. It is something a person can say in a few seconds, yet those few words can carry years of gratitude behind them. That simplicity gives the song its most relatable quality.
